OXICAT – Lambda sensor and catalyst cleaner

Effective, fast, preventative – high-performance cleaner for the entire exhaust system (lambda sensor, catalytic converter, turbo charger, EGR valve, etc.)

The product was first introduced to the international market in 2014 and was specifically developed to reveal its properties only during and after combustion.

For optimal combustion of today's fuels, both diesel and gasoline engines, special attention is paid to the lambda sensor. This sensor measures the residual oxygen in the exhaust gas and influences the fuel-air mixture based on the measurement results.

Since 2018, we have also been offering a version specifically optimized for hybrid vehicles.

The lambda sensor is the main sensor in the lambda control loop for catalytic exhaust gas purification. Its goal is to minimize the emission of pollutants such as nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons, and soot. Factors that affect measurement, such as carbon deposits, soot, and oily deposits, reduce the accuracy of the lambda sensor in the exhaust tract. These inaccurate measurement results are then sent to the OBD – On Board Diagnostic System – which causes the system to initiate changes to the fuel-air mixture. These changes cause major problems: The engine no longer burns cleanly, resulting in engine jerking, poor throttle response, high fuel consumption, and even the activation of the emergency mode.

Possible error messages: P0420 Catalyst efficiency, P0300 P03XX misfiring or combustion detected, P0171 mixture too rich, P0170 mixture too lean

The well-known error messages of the lambda sensor, which are often indicated to the driver by a yellow warning light, mean that the lambda sensor has to be replaced in the workshop at considerable expense.

The OXICAT lambda sensor and catalyst cleaner from bluechemGROUP prevents expensive replacements for the customer and ensures that the lambda sensor is permanently cleaned, thus delivering precise readings. Because the exact fuel-air mixture is determined, the engine runs powerfully and responds with extreme precision, while fuel consumption is significantly optimized. This, in turn, ensures the best possible emissions and, in addition, permanently eliminates deposits in the catalyst.

We recommend applying OXICAT every 10,000 km for both diesel and gasoline engines. Application is incredibly easy: simply add OXICAT to the fuel tank before refueling.
